  Here’s some basic information about advertising in the pages of Chilton County’s best-read weekly community newspaper.

  First, we are a paid-subscription, broadsheet-size newspaper. Our paper is delivered via U.S. Mail every Thursday. We have been published in Chilton County since September 15, 1921.

  Our local column inch rate is $6.50 per column inch.

  If you are an agency please add your commission to the local rate.

  A full page is $838.50, a half page is $419.25 and a quarter page is $209.63.

  Page specs: Six columns per page and our page width (with gutters) is 72 picas or 12 inches wide. Our page is 21.5 inches tall times six columns wide = 129 column inches per page.

  Ads can be sent in PDF format.

  We do offer discounts for repeat customers.

Clanton's Peach Water Tower, constructed in 1992, can easily be seen from Interstate 65.
It is 120 feet tall and holds 500,000 gallons of water.
