Auburn Banquet Planned
The Chilton Auburn Club is planning their 42nd annual Unsung Hero Banquet for Tuesday, April 29, at 6:30. Due to limited seating capacity at the power company conference center, tickets will be sold for $25 per person, which includes a steak dinner with all the trimmings.

The guest speaker will be Coach Eddie Gran. The Unsung Hero this year is running back Carl Stewart of Alcoa, Tennessee. In addition to being a talented athlete, Carl is an accomplished violinist.

Recipes Needed
The Clanton Church of Christ is continuing to collect recipes from people of the community to be published in a cookbook. Recipes can be submitted to Ann Mims at Peoples Southern Bank or mailed to Amy Jolley at 1730 County Road 49, Clanton, AL 35045. You may reserve your copy of the cookbook for $12 by contacting either lady or at the Relay for Life event on April 25th.
