2015 Chilton County Peach Festival Winners!

The Peach Festival was another success, ending with the Peach Auction on Saturday morning, June 27. Mark and Melissa Knight, of M&M Farms, grew the Blue Ribbon basket of prize-winning peaches for the eighth year in a row. The basket was purchased by the Farmers Federation for $2,100.00 at the Peach Auction.

Gann Crowned
Junior Miss Peach

The 2015 Junior Miss Peach and her Court were selected Tuesday night, June 23. Grayson Gann was crowned Queen and named Casual Wear Winner. Her court includes: Madi Price, First Alternate; Grace Nolen, Second Alternate; Claire Staggs, Third Alternate; and Kat Taylor, Fourth Alternate.


Sullivan Crowned
Young Miss Peach

The 2015 Young Miss Peach and her Court were selected Monday night, June 22. Halle Sullivan was crowned Queen. Her court includes: Alli Kate Calhoun, First Alternate and Casual Wear Winner; Alivia Brown, Second Alternate; Sophie Porter, Third Alternate; and Taylor Driver, Fourth Alternate.


Deavers Crowned
Little Miss Peach

Lexie Deavers was named Little Miss Peach Saturday night, June 20, at the 2015 Peach Pageant. She also won the title of Casual Wear Winner. Her court includes: Addison Bone, First Alternate; Caroline Watson, Second Alternate; Mary Henning Dale, Third Alternate; and Marissa Smitherman, Fourth Alternate.

The Peach Pageants continue Monday night, June 22, when the 2015 Young Miss Peach will be crowned. The Junior Miss Peach Pageant is Tuesday night, June 23, and the 2015 Miss Peach will be crowned Thursday night, June 25. There will also be a Miss Peach Queen reunion on Thursday night, June 25, when former Peach Queens will be recognized on stage.

10K Peach Run Winners
The 2015 Peach Run was held Saturday, June 20. Youth Division Winners
The Chilton County Peach Festival Cook-Off was held Saturday, June 20, at Senior Connection in Clanton. Winners in both divisions were awarded: $50.00 for First Place; $35.00 for Second Place; and $25.00 for Third Place. They also received Peach Festival T-Shirts and ribbons.

The Chilton County Peach Festival Cook-Off was held Saturday, June 20, at Senior Connection in Clanton. The event is sponsored by the Alabama Cooperative Extension System, Chilton County Farmers Federation Women's Committee, and Clanton Lions Club.
